Application timeline and deadlines
Key dates and deadlines for the ASE application process.
Summer Deadline: Sunday, February 15, 2025
Completed applications received online by the application deadline will be treated on a 'rolling' admissions basis and will be considered immediately, with notification of acceptance normally being issued within two weeks of receiving the completed application.
We reserve the right to close admissions before the application deadline if all available places are filled. Please ensure the application form is completed and submitted, with all accompanying materials, as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Please Note: Remaining places for Summer School 2025 are limited. The ASE office will be closed over the festive period. Applications will be considered on a first come first serve basis in the order they are submitted in full upon our return mid-January.
Shakespeare, Magic & the Supernatural is now full.
Gods, Heroes, and Monsters is now full.
Concepts of Democracy still has places available.
Victorian Modernism has limited places available.
Creative Nonfiction has limited places available.
Theatre Summer School still has places available.
Education Summer School still has places available.
Application accepted
If a student has been successful in their application, they will be sent an acceptance package by email. Package contents are: acceptance letter, invoice for deposit (non-refundable) and balance of fees where applicable, and pre-arrival information booklet.
Students accepting a place must do so in writing (a form is included in our acceptance letter) and include their photo (a head shot as JPEG) and completed online housing preference form within two weeks of receiving the email notification of acceptance.
Any deposit required should be sent to Franklin & Marshall College as per the instructions on the invoice (if applicable).
Final information
Seven weeks before the start of summer school students will be invited to our Student Portal for a welcoming and onboarding process. This is where further pre-arrival information will be provided, including course and housing allocations, class timetables and more.
